Burundi is unfortunately among the poorest countries in the world and the work that we do is therefore focused on helping the most vulnerable, mostly women, to gain a living for their families. Selling their products can make a difference between their children going to school or staying home to work in their family field, or for their parents being able to buy them malaria medication, a serious health hazard in Burundi. Their resilience touches our hearts and we hope their pieces of art touch the hearts of customers as well.
